Bio

Mason Hart-Phillips is starting her first season as Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach at North Dakota State College of Science volleyball program in 2026. 

Phillips has spent the last five years as an assistant volleyball coach for high school volleyball programs and youth-high school clubs in the state of Idaho. But her volleyball experience extends even further back. Phillips played four years of volleyball at Mayville State University, where she holds a Bachelor’s Degree. 

During her four years at Mayville state, she was Honorable Mention All-American and assisted Mayville State’s volleyball program to their first National Tournament appearance during the 2020-2021 (COVID) season. Phillips was also named National Defender of the Week, NSAA Defender of the Year, and Regional Defender of the year, along with multiple NSAA Defender of the Weeks awards. 

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Phillips holds both a CNA and a Real Estate License. She and her husband, McGwire, keep their hands full with their two kids
