Ingrid Rustad joins the NDSCS Wildcats as a freshman from Hawley, MN.  

(High School) While at Hawley HS, Rustad was a two time All-Conference player in the Heart-of-Lakes Conference, a one time honorable mention All-Conference player, had over 1000 assists, a state champion her senior year, as well as a third place finish at state her freshman year.

(Personal) Rustad is the daughter of Kathleen and Bjarne Rustad.  She intends to study Business Management at NDSCS.  Rustad's mom (Kathleen Rustad) played volleyball at NDSU while her dad (Bjarne Rustad) played football at MSUM.  Her sister (Faith) runs track and cross country at the University of Sioux Falls.  Her aunt (Carrie Vetter) played volleyball at MSUM while her uncle (Bob Vetter) played football at MSUM.  Rustad's cousin (Maria Vetter) ran track at UMary and cousin (Jake Vetter) played football at MSUM.
