Softball Off to a Great Start

NDSCS in February

The Wildcats were 17 – 0 in the month of February, playing a couple weekends in local domes and at the Midwest Invite in Oklahoma City.  The Wildcats were led by freshman Izzi Parsons with 18 steals, while sophomores Blythe Proulx (8 HRs) and Katie Edmonds (.488) sparked the offense.  Heeley Taylor led the pitching staff with 6 wins in the month.  The Cats also had 2 National Pitchers of the Week (Heeley and Ella Stewart) as well as 2 National Players of the Week in Olivia Hohrman and Blythe Proulx. 

The Cats are headed to Kansas City for Spring Break this weekend where they're scheudled to play eight games.
