The MBB Mon-Dak basketball player of the week is Peyton Newbern, a 6'4" sophomore guard. During a 3-0 conference week for the Wildcats, he shot 54% from the field scoring 43 points, had 19 rebounds, 13 assists, 13 steals, and 2 blocked shots. Peyton is from New Hope, Minnesota and he attended Robbinsdale Armstrong High School. This is the third time he has earned this honor this season.
