Aaron Williams Jr. commits to McPherson College

Wahpeton, ND. — NDSCS sophomore guard Aaron Williams Jr has signed a national letter of intent to play at McPherson College. 

McPherson College is an NAIA Division 1 school out of McPherson, KS. They are coached by TJ Eskildsen. 

Williams, had this to say about his signing. "I'm really excited and blessed to receive a scholarship! It is one of the goals I told my self to achieve. I am really thankful for what NDSCS brought me in my career, I learned a lot on the court and off the court."

Williams, a native of Missouri City, TX was named Mon-Dak conference 2nd Team all conference. He helped lead the Wildcats to an overall record of 31-2 and an Mon-Dak record of 21-1.

NDSCS Head Men's Basketball Coach Engen had this to say about Williams. "Very excited for Aaron and his opportunity at McPherson.  Aaron worked hard and improved.  His ability to score on all three levels makes him a unique prospect.  Excited to see how much better he gets and looking forward to following his career."

Aaron averaged 11.8 points, and 2.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore this season.
