Former Wildcat Marselio Mendez Leads SJU to MIAC Title

Former NDSCS Wildcat Marselio Mendez has had an All-American worthy season this year for the undeafeted Johnnies from Saint John's University.  This season, Mendez is averaging 93.5 yards per game with on 56 receptions and 12 touchdowns to lead the 10-0 Johnnies who have just finished up MIAC play and will be heading into the playoffs later this month.  Mendez was a fantastic player for the Wildcats playing in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons where the Wildcats went 18-3 during those two seasons.  Mendez had 99 receptions for 1718 yards and 28 touchdowns in 21 games.  Mendez was a first team All-American at NDSCS in 2022.
