NDSCS ends the football season ranked #2
After a hard fought battle in the DIII Junior College National Championship, the Wildcats fell to DuPage 14-12. Sophomore quarterback Graedyn Buell finished the game with two touchdowns. One touchdown was a 63 yard strike to Marsellio Mendez who finished the game with seven receptions for 99 yards. The second Buell touchdown was a 17 yard rush to bring the Wildcats within two.
The Wildcat defense proved themselves forcing three fumbles and recording three sacks. Erik Lumpkin led the charge with 2.5 TFLs and a forced fumble. NDSCS finished the season with a 9-2 record, an MCAC conference championship, and a #2 overall finish which is their highest finish in program history.
