Wildcats Success Continues in NDSCS Invitational

The Wildcats enjoyed a successful weekend as they played host to 11 other teams at the 2018 NDSCS Invitational.

Although NDSCS suffered its first loss of the season, the Cats finished the Invitational 3-1 and improved their overall record to 13-1.


The Wildcats won their first match of the NDSCS Invite against Gogebic CC 3-0. Scores were 25-10, 25-20, 25-11. In their second contest, they picked up another win against Concordia JV 3-0. Scores were 25-15, 25-14, 25-23. In game 3, NDSCS fell to Iowa Central 0-3. Scores were 25-27, 18-25, 21-25. In the finale, the Cats ousted Bottineau 3-0. Scores were 25-17, 25-11, 25-6.

Up next for the Cats is a quick rematch with conference opponent Dakota College at Bottineau. The Wildcats will host Bottineau on Wednesday, September 19th on Plaid Night. There will also be a FREE Pancake Feed with serving beginning at 6:15 until the pancakes are gone. The match begins at 7 PM. Wear plaid and support the Wildcats as they strive to remain undefeated in Mon-Dak Conference play.
